Welcome To FAR Ranchs 2007 Reduction Sale
FAR Ranch has a new home in Harvard, Idaho
FAR Ranch moved to Harvard in the winter of 2005. FAR now is located on a mountaintop above the Palouse river with 156 acres of pasture and forest with an immense view. This is the where land our foundation bred appaloosas were first developed as the war horse of the Nez Pierce indian. And our appaloosas are thriving.
This site is under construction. New items added daily for 2007 sale. Please check horseresourcedirectory.com for FAR Ranch listed appys with many pictures of each.
FAR Ranchs senior stallion Apaches Mcleo Bar has crossed the rainbow bridge, leaving many new foals to be born in 2007. Our current reduction reflects this sad fact as FAR reorganizes it's breeding options.
Most foals to be bred will now be 4th and 5th generation appaloosas in the 80 to 94th percentile pure. All FAR appaloosas are from blanket lines or display one blanket pattern. We hope to breed double blanket pattern appaloosas as well as the double LP appys we have now.
We hope lots of folks will come to visit our new ranch, as well as come to buy. We are proud of our highly visible appaloosas.
Please feel free to visit our older web sites for further information on specific appaloosas and bloodlines.
